About Us
Garage Sale Addict aims to provide the best service for anyone in that has an interest
in garage sales and loves to hunt for the latest and great bargain.
We grew up on making garage sale trips on weekends and see that
their is currently
a gap between how hosters and viewers find each other.
Through the years, we have also come to understand what most people want out of
this: a fun experience while buying/selling various goods.
With that in mind, this website will be geared to provide all the features that
both parties would want. We will do our best to apply our view on what those features
are, but we also would like your feedback, which you can provide by going to the
main page. Our
goal is to make this a community, and to do that, we need your help!
Garage Sale Addict is a website that will aim to help anyone and everyone in the garage sale market.
We are starting out by placing features to support garage sale listings, yard sale listings,
moving sale listings etc.
We do our best to design the processes to post the garage sale listings
and also to search for the garage sales. What we do ask for is feedback and tips from the garage sale community
to help us optmizie these features to help you enjoy posting your garage sale or finding other garage sales in the area.
It is important to keep in mind thought that Garage Sale Addict is not only for listings. We will be conducting surveys
to help everyone who likes garage sales to find out a little more about them. We will visit or contact individual garage sale hosters
both on site or online to find their tips for hosting the best garage sale. From these surveys, we will publish articles that contain
garage sale tip like how to garage sale, best garage sale prices.
Later on we will create garage sale kits for people new to this
to help them get started on hosting their first yard sale. The kit will include information on how to post on our online garage sale listings page,
other ways to advertise your garage sale (like best places to post garage sale signs). We will also offer our own garage sale signs that
will be reusable from garage sale to garage sale.
We will also do our best gather legal information to inform you about your local garage sale laws and bylaws to make sure that host your successful garage sale legally!
